Heres a little bit about me...
Brought up in the sunny seaside town of Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast, I grew up exploring the great outdoors, building sandsculptures on the beach and creating dens in the woods. On rainy days I spent hours on different arts and crafts.
I have always been fascinated with making things, especially jewellery. I would create jewellery out of anything I could find with the hope I was making something more beautiful and giving objects a new lease of life. This spurred me on to enroll in a 3 year university course based around craft and design-BA(Hons) Glass, Ceramics, Jewellery and Metal at UCA Farnham. which I graduated with a first class degree in June 2016. This course allows me to learn about a huge range of materials and techniques as well as craft and design contextual studies.
My work has often been inspired by the seaside as this is where I feel most at home. More recently I have been inspired by peoples attachments to jewellery and the memorys that the jewellery holds.
I now create handcrafted and bespoke jewellery with a personal and sentimental approach to design.
